Common tour itinerary in Vietnam (part 2)

Vietnam has two centers of tourism are Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Each of them has an international airport is Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat airport (Ho Chi Minh City). You can choose one of them to become the first arrival destination. Depending on the time that you have for your trip you will decide to visit how many destinations and how long you stay there. If you choose Hanoi to visit firs, the itinerary is Hanoi, Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An in the central and Ho Chi Minh in the south. If you choose Ho Chi Minh for your first destination, the main itinerary is Ho Chi Minh City, Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An, and the last one is Hanoi.

Destinations and itinerary for the Central of Vietnam:

 

Hoi An

 

The central of Vietnam is famous for its beautiful nature especially is the beaches with crystal clear water and long white sand. Central of Vietnam also has many attractive heritages like Hue citadel or Hoi An ancient town.

 

Da Nang is the National City, also the center of this area. Da Nang has an international airport; it is a convenience for guests to travel to this place. Besides, train is another kind of transportation, but it is not very comfortable for a long route with about 20 hours from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City while it is just take about 1 hour and a half for a plane.

 

Normally, the foreign tourists do not choose Da Nang to stay when they come to the central of Vietnam. The preferred destination is Hoi An – the ancient town. Hoi An has many resorts near the beaches: Cua Dai beach, An Bang beach… It is very convenient for going to the beach and visiting the town. The guests usually spend about 1 to 2 days for Hoi An. The next destination is Hue citadel with the day tour. Coming to Hue, the guests will visit the citadel with the magnificent palace of the Nguyen dynasty and Thien Mu pagoda – the ancient pagoda of Hue. Another destination in the central of Vietnam is Quang Binh province. The tour from Hoi An to Quang Binh normally is 2 days 1 night. Quang Binh has two wonderful caves are Haven Cave and Phong Nha cave, they are the must see destinations here. On the way to Quang Binh, tourist will have chance to stop at Quang Tri province and visit Vinh Moc tunnels, Truong Son cemetery or Quang Tri citadel – the historical relics related to the resistance against the French colonists and US imperialists.

 

 Destinations and itinerary for the South of Vietnam:

 

Ho Chi Minh city

 

The south of Vietnam has a bustling and modern city – Ho Chi Minh City, it is also the center for tourism of this area. Like Hanoi and Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City is the main destination during the trip to the south. Ho Chi Minh has many places to visit: Reunification palace, Ben Thanh Market, China town, Notre dame cathedral, Central post office, Thien Hau pagoda, Vinh Nghiem pagoda… It normally takes 1 to 2 days to visit all the destinations. After the city tour, the guest will have 1 day or half tour to Cu Chi tunnels – a very attractive historical relic in outskirt of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cao Dai village near by. To discover the lifestyle of wetland, the guest should join to the 2 days 1 night or 3 days 2 nights tour to Mekong delta. My Tho, Can Tho, Ben Tre have many attractive destination for guest to visit: Cai Rang floating market, Vinh Trang pagoda, Sa Dec – where has the romantic love story in the novel The Lover of author Marguerite Duras .

 

The South of Vietnam also has many other famous destinations: Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Da Lat…  Depending on the time for the trip, tourist can arrange the tour to these destinations also.
